Greenhouse Gas Emission Inventory Compilation and Emission Peak Research

Project in Hulunbuir City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Hulunbuir is one of the second batch of national low-carbon pilot cities. As a region with a large amount of coal resources, Hulunbuir relies on coal and downstream industries to drive the economy to take off rapidly, while synchronously, a substantial increase in greenhouse gas emissions and environmental damage consequently occurs. At the same time, the city has abundant grassland and forest resources. To realize stable growth and low-carbon industrial transformation under the economy new normal, the city lays the foundation for the next step of urban planning through the study of emission inventories and emission peaks, so that to guide the adjustment of urban industrial structure, promote the development of circular economy, and realize the development strategy of "low-carbon city".
